Open Wide

I am not thrilled with the quality of this photo, but I had to share based on the circumstances. This alligator was near the edge of a pond beside a fairway on the golf course, but facing the fairway as golfers approached.  I spotted him from the road and parked to walk over.  It was like he was daring a golfer to come near him as they passed on the fairway.  I talked to a couple of the golfers, and they said the gators are "all over this course," and they had seen 10 so far while playing.  I later took a photo of one in a similar location that must have been at least 8 - 9 feet long and was very broad.  I got no closer than my zoom lens would allow and on the shot above, the zoom was nearly fully extended.
