Hurricane hits the streets of York

Thankfully not the stormy variety but this model of a single seater fighter as used in the Second World War. Still important enough to warrant some security to look after it. Communications have come a long way since the Hurricanes flew back in the 1940s and I don't think this is Red Leader reporting enemy action (although there was a very noisy school party surrounding the plane). It might not be an original, as I don't think there are many of the 15k left, but it's still a beautiful piece of engineering.
