Today's Special

Beginning at the End

We are home again, tired after yesterday's long journey and the three-hour time difference between Washington state and North Carolina, but replete with wonderful memories of our time with L and B.

I'm going to back-blip some of the days I missed here while away, beginning with this one -- a wonderful artwork at Sea-Tac Airport at the very end of Concourse A, not far from where our United Airlines flight landed. Sea-Tac Airport has more than 100 diverse works in glass, sculpture, photography, painting, and sound by 59 regional and international artists.

This delightful one by Cappy Thompson, done in vitreous enamels and stained glass, is "I Was Dreaming of Spirit Animals." You can view the whole work, and others, on the intro page here  for "Art at Sea-Tac Airport".

Now it's time for another cup of tea to help me stay awake!

(P.S. Phil's blip shows a wider view of this artwork.)
