apple blossom

Another day in the cold wind.  Came home to find my own apple trees have burst into bloom.

This evening old friends arrived on their Royal Enfield, part of a six week tour of the British Isles they are doing, very intrepidly. They had some mechanical teething troubles en route so arrived late and cold. 
We haven't seen them for eight years but it might have been yesterday.  So nice.
