Best foot forward

Our Tuesday walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers this week was a circular walk from Kilsyth, north towards Allanfauld and then back via Queenzieburn and Dumbreck Marsh.

One of the group, knowing that I tend to take a lot of photos on our walks, had asked that I photograph some of the people, rather than just the scenery, so she could add them to the group's website and use them for publicity material at an 'open day' we're planning (subject to the subjects' agreement of course!).

She particularly wanted to highlight the age-range of the group (a bit difficult for a mid-week walk since that does tend to attract people who are no longer working) and asked that I try to get some pictures of the people looking happy and interacting with one another (not always easy if we are going uphill in a gale or a downpour!)

However, I took a few shots as we went along and said I'd take more on some of our other walks and let her decide which, if any, she wanted to use. So, here we have a picture of some of our Tuesday Ramblers. Hope they look happy enough!
