Bouncing

It was a stroke of brilliance when a group of young families all went in on the purchase of this used bounce house. In Spring and Summer, it makes an appearance at every birthday party and keeps every kid between the ages of two and ten occupied for hours. We celebrated two birthdays today; the PSLOML turned four and his cousin, three. There is only one thing that could possibly make a bounce house more exhilarating, and that is to assign monster status to an adult (me) and be chased and forced to make a diving entrance into the safe enclosure.  My belly hurt from laughing so much at the sight of the sheer panic my Frankenstein shuffle with outstretched arms caused. Children can turn anything into a game.

The day was, in every way, flawless.
