Heading to Lichfield to see Mom I drove over this level crossing. I have to admit I hadn't realised it wasn't used anymore, indeed I assumed it was as a new railway bridge has recently been constructed over the new southern by-pass to the city.

I risked prosecution (upto £1,000 fine) and gingerly crossed the anti-pedestrian measures to take this shot. The line is reminiscent of those used for the portrait shots of people; that's one to be stored up for future consideration.
