Luminous Green Hairstreak (Callophrys Rubi)

This must have just hatched when I saw it, it was shining so brightly in the sunshine. I have only seen one of these before and it was quite dull compared to this luminescent specimen. (The open wings are just brown so maybe I have seen it before and not realised it.) I returned back home like a dog with two tails especially as we are due 4 days of rain! Such a shame as Schlimm is coming this weekend to visit a friend who lives in our village! What a small world it is.
