I've to stop groaning, says +1/2.

To be fair, I feel that it's justified: a day of digging and repairing river banks on the Quaggy River in Sutcliffe Park as part of a work sponsored community day. Beautiful weather, so I decided to cycle there and back. Knackered.

The distance isn't really the killer with urban cycing, it's the never-ending stop-start. 

Through Shoreditch (some interesting buildings and people so will be going back) and a stop at Greenwich on the way back before going through Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

Time for a restorative glass of wine...
