Autumn ... A Carpet of leaves

Because there wasn't a cloud in the sky, many photographers were out first thing this morning, including me.  The leaves turn this colour when the first rays of the sun hit the trees, changing them to a lovely rusty shade.  In a few minutes the leaves were back to gold.  I went  to U3A this morning, the topic this month is 'Literature'.

What a beautiful sunny day it is.
