One species each day (from my backyard)

I was pleased to see this that this Salvia confertiflora was producing flower buds in the garden at this time of the year, but was waiting for the flowers to fully open. When this didn't seem to happen I had a closer look and realised that they WERE fully open and that some had already finished flowering and fallen off.
