A CURIOUS CLUSTER.

These are probably the eggs of a wood boring insect, though I'm not really sure. I found the cluster much smaller than my little finger nail 5ft up a tree and sat nicely in a crevice in the bark. A first for me so quite exciting as I usually find eggs of moths and butterflies on leaves and reeds. I think I will be looking at trees more closely from now on.
