May Day

I have said for a number of years that I would go and watch the Glorishears of Brummagen dance in the dawn at Barr Beacon in Great Barr. 

I finally made it this year. I was up at 4.30am and up at Barr Beacon by 5pm.

I cannot actually put into words how utterly cold it was. It was enjoyable though and I am glad I went. The sky was gorgeous. 

I am really quite tired now.
