A tale of two campaigns

I was in Helensburgh this evening for the final Argyll & Bute Hustings. Brendan O'Hara was excellent and afterwards we walked back to his campaign hub which was absolutely full of members - some of whom had been at the hustings and some of whom had been out leafleting . The atmosphere was fantastic , friendly and focussed.

When I left I walked past the Tory rooms , just across the square. Four old(ish) men were struggling to hang a banner above the front door but apart from that it was deserted and silent.

Says it all really....
