Tour de Yorkshire

Joined the masses on the steep climb out of the Rosedale valley onto the North York Moors.

We were entertained by a cycling sheep (well a cyclist dressed as a Swaledale Sheep!) a cyclist being offered a pint of Yorkshire's best and stopping for a swig (not anyone in the Tour I might add) and a great crowd.

Glad we chose a point 500 metres from the finish on the last steep climb to the summit. Surprisingly they were slowed sufficiently for a few photographs.

This is the lead group who were keen to contest the King of the Mountains. A Bradley Wiggins team member leading them out. Only noticed the moustache of one of the group when I uploaded the shot!

A grand day out.
