Star of Behtlehem

These flowers were just coming through the grass amongst the bluebells at Kew. 

We also looked at the lovely botanical painting of Masumi Yamanaka - very fine detail and interesting use of white space. Of course in the field that's not so easy to do with a camera - there's other stuff!
