It's the first time I've photographed one of these and I quite like them.

Our local male peregrine is in extras. The latest news is that the chicks are due any day but there is no way of seeing if and when they hatch. The concern is that the young male is not yet mature and they have been mating again recently, although they both continue to take turns to sit the nest. 

Also the #BTCB is a little repetitive now with the female blue tit continually sitting the 7 eggs, shuffling, rearranging feathers, occasionally wearing the big feather on her head (presumably to break the boredom) and regularly turning the eggs. The partner pops in occasionally with a snack.
