Paper not fabric!!

I have to admit I have far more affinity for fabric than paper, however I had the idea tha perhaps some of my latest acquisition of silk could be made into flowers for hat trims. I don't want anything to fussy, to spoil the beauty of the fabric, so thought of origami... No idea if it will work in fabric, but thought the simple lines might work...
