May Day!

It has been a rainy day with bursts of sunshine.  I went out after one of the rain showers and got the water drops on this rose bud and rose bloom.  I also nipped next door to take this photo of wild flowers growing in my neighbour's yard.

I saw the woodpecker out at the feeder today but failed to capture it.  I did get cardinals, a tufted titmouse, and a house finch.  All this supervised by Peace.

Being Friday, had my lunch date with best friend Birgit.  We celebrated my birthday with her spoiling me with lots of goodies and us sharing turtle cheesecake & carrot cake!
