A Little Piece of History

In Margaret and Steve's garden there are three red poppies. The two lower ones are ceramic and came from the 888,246 poppies displayed around the Tower of London as part of the installation "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red". Each of the 888,246 poppies represented a British or Colonial military fatality in World War One. These two poppies are a little piece of history to be treasured and honored.
