Flat felt

I was on tea duty at the Border Gaitherin today in Coldstream - a traditional music festival with many workshops. A new workshop was felting - for the youngsters....so I joined in!!

Here is mine - a rather chunky and raw depiction of the view from the parentals window, but I thought I might try giving it a few additions with embroidery thread and a spin on the sewing machine...will take it with me to Gourock tomorrow and see what happens! Am hoping it might make a cushion cover at some stage...

On tea duty til 11.30 and then hope to make it "home" in time for the Royal Pageant on the Thames at 2pm, but I may be pushing it! I have loads of bunting for M&D and flags for them to wave.
