Island legends

The bear is Hercules - a film star bear - who escaped whilst being filmed up here and spent two weeks roaming the islands before being recaptured. Having heard the crofters talking about the dangers of eagles, I dread to think what they were saying about Hercules.
Our French couple have not moved out in disgust after my breakfast and so we must be doing something right. This evening they even cooked us supper which struck me as a good deal. Tomorrow they head off to Lewis and so our career in hospitality management comes to a temporary we hope) halt.
