Photography day at Duxford

We were lucky to manage to get slots on Moose Peterson's war bird photography day at Duxford. Despite it being a "non flying day" we were treated to Dragon Rapides, Tigermoths, Harvards, the Gnat Display team, a lone Red Arrow and even this lovely Spitfire before our private shoot in the evening with the HAC Hurricane and Spitfire. It was a great fun day, we even managed a short trip up in one of the Dragon Rapides - something of a brave move for me, I'm a somewhat nervous flyer and not so good with turbulence. Capturing the Spitfire's Merlin engine belching flames as the old lady started up was one of the highlights for sure. The rest of my photos from the day are here hope you like them :)
