Poisonous beauty

Our children used to call this the Banana tree. It is also known as the Golden Shower tree, Common Laburnum. All parts of it are poisonous. This bit of information I learned just a few years ago, long after the children had used the flowers and seedpods as play food in their games...bad mom!  And a thankful mom, that everyone is all right despite my ignorance.
