Rhubarb Jam Disaster

I had a plan to use up some of the larger rhubarb stalks that have been blown over in the garden - a really easy recipe for rhubarb & vanilla jam!

Stupidly I halved all the quantities except the pectin and it started to catch before it even got to 105C - it's now rock hard but it does taste good.

(Next time - no pectin at all and I'll add some ginger too.)

The evening was spent in West Linton GC celebrating a friend's 40th with a wee dance or 2 and plenty of vino.
