An Avid Lensman

Worm's Eye View....

For my second Spring cliché, here's the first, www.blipfoto.com/entry/2040347937099219930  now that the sun came out, all I can say is "Don't go to Bentley Wood" for your bluebell snaps.

Much more Zing in the Spring LARGE!

Sure, they're out but only sparsely under the trees and maybe there was a better location in this big wood (cheap and quick to get to by train, then couple of miles walk).

Rather than dismissing the situation, I had to get the best from what I had. So, it was flat on the stomach and minimal depth of field, against the light. With a big heavy fast lens, this not a nice natural or comfortable position to be in, let alone trying to shoot - and focus manually - against the light.

Anyways, so more a study of Spring in the Forest rather than bluebells per se but not an unattractive pic overall.

Lens is Sigma 70-200mm f2.8

After yesterday's long tiring day and Blip (& extras) from the Cuckoo Fair and with a big shoot at various Salisbury May Bank Holiday events tomorrow, I'm in need of some bodily rest now.

Have a super relaxed Sunday, folks!
