It was wild, windy, desolate and devoid of other human beings - and a May bank holiday !

If you want to get away from the rat race and lose yourself in the hills, then this is the place to be. This is from the Border Ridge approaching the Pennine Way and the view is up to Scotland. We were right on the place where we will have to have passport control when independence comes its inevitable way :)
