Capturing the capturing of a moment...

There are some very significant parties going on this weekend - and I was lucky enough to be part of the one I think deserves to be celebrated the most - the 70th birthday of a very dear friend and mentor of mine.

It was a gorgeously sunny - but deceptively cold - day in Stirling, but the bunting fluttered, the marquee's stayed up (well, all but one!) and there was much cake and fizz. Some fine live music, and catching up with many of my favourite people in the world.

This is one of them, capturing the event for posterity :)
