The Tate: St Ives

Enjoyed the photographic exhibition at The Tate in St Ives today. Beautiful b/w photos made in the old way before digital. I was particularly taken with Gyula Holica and the photographs of peas, and glasses. I also liked Harry Callahan, especially the colour image of red apples in a doorway. Claude Cahun's surreal images also feature, an acquired taste I think, but incredible with what she was able to produce.

The actual Tate building is beautiful.
We ended the day with coffee and cake, and a lovely view of St Ives.
