A pink ticket

Two soakings so far today, so summer is here for sure. Spent the morning generally getting in the way at the parish hall where there was a coffee morning supporting a local charity Just One which has been working with disadvantaged children in Nepal for the last decade. Declan, the driving force behind it, (holding the raffle ticket) happened to be home with his family in Clonakilty when the quake struck. So he's been organising a lot of extra fundraising at the moment.
Lots of cakes, buns, tea, coffee and the obligatory raffle where we managed to unload a few unwanted gifts:) I even made banana bread for it last night, so some poor sod has indigestion coming on their bank holiday.
