Magnolia #5

The magnolia saga continues.  It is about a fortnight since I last blipped the Magnolia.  As you can see time has not been kind to it.  The bud is considerably larger (look at the sepals at the bottom of the bud).  However as you can see it appears to have been nipped by the one or two nights of frost.  I will watch with interest to see if it develops further, yet some of the buds, those not as far out seem to have escaped.

Not the best of shots taken in the wind and rain this morning too busy to try again later.  I have also used a rather too narrow DoF.
