Dandelion seedheads look totally different in the wet. Even if not rained directly upon, the parachutes collect moisture from the passing misty air and collapse in a bead of water. Often several parachutes cling together in a clump as here.

This image has been given the 'reverse polar coordinates' treatment to turn a circular image into a panorama.

That is the same filte that is used to turn landscapes/panoramas ino 'mini-planets'
