The outlook is...........

We were leaving a friend’s house in Stenness, just after midnight when there was a chap on the door.  There were two pairs of New Zealand bikers who had just arrived off the Aberdeen boat.  It was pitch dark (and freezing cold) and they couldn’t find the accommodation they had booked.  We looked at their printed instructions and we couldn’t work it out either.  So they followed us back to Creel HQ and one couple stayed in the Bothy and the other couple in the Shack.  We gave them tea etc and this morning they left a lot happier.  However they probably won’t be happy now.  After a dry but cold morning it has bucketed with rain all day with quite a blowy sooth-east wind.  The winter drags on.....................
