Typical bank holiday weather

A rather yucky day today. So 2 boys cooped up in the house.

Tempers flaring due to their inbuilt inability to realise how early too early is :(

You can guarantee if we need them up early they'll whine and moan, and generally be slow; but when the grown ups would like a lie in ( not a big one, just till around 8 ), then they'll be awake.

Had to separate them around 11 when the screams and tears for too much.

So who would have thought that taking a 3 year old to Ikea on a bank holiday weekend wound actually be less stressful than staying at home!

Bought some more storage boxes for C and JJ's rooms; then spent a further 3 hours trying to tidy up C's room.

Broke the monotony by going for a walk ( all together ) down by the river Frome. Not to much squabbling, but screams from JJ whenever he spied a dog. God knows what he'll do when he meets my brothers Rhodesian Ridgebacks in July.


Currently having a breather from the ironing and listening to some Faith No More.

Typing more than usual as I don't want to iron anymore :(

The wife is currently in the pub with a friend and neighbour; and I have managed another day without booze.
Walked about 3.5 miles but still feel like a fat porker :(
