Promote Chicken Literacy

Apparently, there is a devastating problem of chicken illiteracy in Katonah. We are all grateful to the family who decided to bring this to our attention at the annual Katonah Halloween Parade.. I wonder how many years that kid will allow this to happen?

For those who may have noticed my blip absence last week, let's just say it was a rough week. I am on antibiotic #3 (yes 3) in 4 weeks. Apparently immune suppression and I do not get along well. How are we going to manage my autoimmune disease without it? I don't think anyone knows the answer at this point.

I always like to joke that you never want your cat or dog to need to see me, because as an internal medicine specialist, I see very complicated cases. I love the challenge of managing an animal with multiple life threatening conditions & giving that pet a good quality of life. Hopefully my rheumatologist feels the same way about me. We are about to find out.
