Red Campion

The day started sunny but by the time we got out it was looking like rain.  We headed to Topsham for one of our favourite short walks, the one with coffee and cakes.  Trooped along the bird spotting haunts but there was not much around, now that so many of the waders have migrated north.

Only a few photos taken as it started to rain but I had a choice between this and a cute looking calf.  There were four very young calves in a field on the RSPB Bowling Green Marsh Reserve.
