Just Enough Blue

15.5C with sunny spells. Warm when the sun was out. Wind to 22 mph with gusts to 31 mph.

Apothecary7's day off. We went through to Broughty Ferry, and after a quick stop at the M&S Simply Food we parked near the castle and took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We went along the seafront and came back along the main shopping street and back to the car.

On the way home I stopped on the top road to try one or two shots of this field which we often look at as we drive towards Dundee. The lines made by the trees often offer a good composition. There was just enough blue in the sky today to make the yellow of the oil seed rape flowers really stand out.

After lunch we took Maeve for a walk. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The fields are all looking green with young crops growing quickly in the longer days. There was some spraying of a crop going on in one of the fields near the shore road. We came back along the cycle path then turned right to walk up the bridle path and back along by the church and round to home.
