View from the Sage

Chucked it down all last night and through this morning so, unfortunately, Rag Bag's planned dance out at a charity garden party was cancelled.

MrM and I went down to Alnwick after lunch for the weekly shop, and then carried on south, firstly to Whitley Bay for a walk by St Mary's Island. The tide was right in, so no chance of walking across to the lighthouse. Then, after a meal, off to the Sage in Gateshead to see Al Stewart in a 'classic album' concert (The Year of the Cat). He was every bit as good as the last time I saw him, in 1975!
