The Boy

Today a mixed ensemble of English and International School teachers came together to play a long awaited football match against the local Busan Transportation Corporation Football Club's workers.
A great day out - although it started a little muddled with the fixture being cancelled and then on again due to communication problems/confusion over ''Saturday'' and ''Sunday''.
On our team was a mixed bag of talent and ability with mine not being helped by not being able to find the right foot of my football boots - and a late night the previous evening. What we lacked in team work and organisation however we made up in enthusiasm with a final score line of around 9-5 (I lost count after a while).
Pictured is Matteo - son of the organiser of the event and maths teacher from our school Charlie. Charlie's about as big a football fan as you get, supporting the Korean National League teams with schoolboy like enthusiasm. The love of the game can be seen on his son (our super sub), here wearing West Ham shorts and socks offset with a Brighton Albion and Hove FC shirt, the next generation of football fan/player in the making.
