cast

Here's the entire cast before we did the Friday night performance. As evey year people have come to see us expecting a typical am-dram production and been amazed to see challenging and inventive drama

There are some seriously talented people in the group and the improvisational way we work coupled with the directors' imaginations bring something inventive and enthralling every year - and each year come up with something very different.

This year's play was an adaptation of The Caucasian Chalk Circle with amazing effects and loads of props - lucky we weren't touring this year

My role mainly involved shifting five tables, a block, and several folding chairs. Oh and a bath (twice)

I'm not one of the talented people but I love working collaboratively with the group and jointly creating something new

For a fortnight all of us have been getting together virtually every night (and all day Sunday) after work for three or four hours or more to take a journey that has almost ended in the scene above

Every year, we do the last performance, the set is taken down, costumes and props packed away and we go away wondering what to do on the next day and feel at a bit of a loss

I'm trying to fill in most if not all of the gaps in my journal with backblips, now I've got the time to breathe occasionally!
