Sitting down on the job?

This bumble bee must be exhausted.  He/she seems to be the only bee in the orchard.

No doubt today's strong gusts of wind will have discouraged most honey bees from foraging, but this year very few of them are to be seen even on calm days.

The fruit blossom is wonderful this year, let's hope for a bumper harvest.
