The Colour of Winter

The foreshore of our lake is decorated with Willow trees and in Summer and Spring these add a wonderful patch of green to contrast the blue of the lake.
In Autumn these trees, like all good deciduous types, lose their leaves but the branch structure beneath holds to a golden hue and in Winter, in low winter light, these willows look just wonderful. Willows are great trees to front a lake as there is only a small period during which they actually defoliate completely.
We reportedly have some serious Winter weather heading our way in the next few days but as all locals know you can't count your snowflakes until they actually fall in our town, as the multiple mountain ranges between us and the South can often seriously alter the outcome. Meanwhile...

Here is the weather, read by Tussockatis Kaninerous. The large area of dark has been steadily moving down The Bosses face and seems stable around his chin for the moment.
Wonderful sunsets have dominated the higher regions but the areas of pronounced protrusion seem to have reduced leaving only bright and slightly red coloured cloud patterns behind.
The Outlook...Slow improvement but bring your dark glasses.

Big trees please
