More peats!

Some years we join in a small village scheme to cut machine peats. These "sausage peats" as they are called are regulated by the village. They are only cut in one area, which is controlled to prevent damage to the moor etc. We have been doing this for twenty years or so, and in the summer you would never know a machine had been here. The "sausages" are smaller and more compacted than "normal" peats, but they burn just as well.
