Old Montréal

We decided to do a full day learning about Montréal's history today. Izzy picked a good museum for us to start with which is in one of the oldest houses in Montreal and told us all about New France and the relationships with the Brits and America. After wondering around the cobbled streets, we shared some sandwiches in the beaming sunshine! Then we met Fran, a friend of Lisa's who has just become a tour guide - it was great to find out about all the buildings, stories about Montreal and enjoy the sun all at the same time! We all agreed that an ice cream had been earned and then made our way back to the hostel before finding some amazing pizza for dinner. The hostel bar had a beer pong night - we lost one then won one and then it was time for bed
