Horse

The walk by Cockburns reservoir is still pleasant enough although I think some of its beauty has been spoiled by the tree felling that has taken place. There are also views in the distance of the work going on to erect the new pylons. I was greeted by several horses when i returned to the car and this one was happy to come quite close.
Took in " Far From the Madding Crowd" in the evening. A beautifully made film, which captures the story and characters of the book well. I am not convinced that it is better than the previous version made in the Sixties...perhaps they shouldn't be compared.
