If only . . .

you could smell this blossom.  This is from the Thundercloud Plum tree in our yard.  It is a wonderful tree - beautiful when the blossoms are out, very fragrant, and later the leaves are a lovely purple.  It seems to be strictly ornamental - we've never had any fruit from it.

More rain showers today, off and on.  Mr M's barber has had to move her shop and in the meantime, he needed his hair cut.  So he called her and she agreed to come to our house to do it.  Fortunately she does house visits for elderly people, so she has a travel kit.  Mr M hasn't had his hair cut by anyone but this lady since he was 14 years old, so he really didn't want to go somewhere else.  Thankfully she should be settled in her new location by next week.
