Good news for our daughter,

who loves to stroll barefoot through the house and always complains about cold feet. That is not our reason, of course, but it has more to do with consuming less global energy and reducing heat loss. After first the roof and later the cavity walls, we have the floor insulated. From the space underneath our house, the entire underside of the floor is provided with a thick heat insulating layer of polyurethane foam, an environment-friendly (CFC-free) foam. From now on, the floor will feel a lot more comfortable. Even without thick socks, or bare feet.

Hopefully the terrible smell will disappear soon......
