Those elusive pelicans

Some years there are hundreds of pelicans who visit my part of the world.

One year they stayed for most of the year. 

Recently they have chosen a different migratory path.  However, there are a few who have found their way back.  

Fortunately I was able to get close enough for a shot before they move on.
