Cathedral and Palace Road

Took my mother into Kirkwall today, for the recommencement of the monthly Parkinson’s Support Group.  I took the opportunity to nip into the bike shop for an inner tube.

Unexpectedly I was accosted by Sandy who informed me he had just bought ‘In Praise of Dreams’, q.v.,  purely for the viola playing.  Indeed it is a great piece of work.  It’s not every day you get to chat to anyone at any location in the world about the musical landscapes of Mr Garbarek.

After taking my mother for messages and doing a few errands for her I dashed home to find that the Current Mrs Creel had made an asparagus tart with sautéed potatoes and salad.

I’m now about to strap on me dancing pumps.
