Another wonderful sign....

of spring at last!   While eating lunch we noticed that there was an amazing amount of activity going on around the birdfeeder.  We watched while many of them gathered there together....at one point there were about 10-12 birds at the feeder and a couple on the little platform.   Here's a list:
nuthatch, chick-a-dee, purple finch, goldfinch, junko, white throated sparrow and of course the little squirrel at the bottom catching lots of seeds!   it was so lovely i went outside and sat on a stool and spent about 20 minutes taking lots of photographs.   Wouldn't you know it, the very first one i took, inside was the best example!   Hard to try and capture them all together.
